The number one thing employees in first-world countries want most in their workplace – ahead of more pay and a fun work environment – is trusted leadership, according to The Trust Outlook™, one of the biggest studies on trust and leadership presented by the Trust Edge Leadership Institute.

A lack of trust is your biggest expense. Without trust, transactions cannot occur. Without trust, influence is destroyed. Without trust, leaders lose their people. Trust can be either your most vulnerable weakness or your greatest asset.

So how do you create trust as a leader within your organization? How can you use a crisis as the fastest opportunity to build trust? And what’s one thing you should do to rebuild trust when it’s lost?

This week, I invited David Horsager to join me for a live interview as part of the Velocity Mindset® Success Stories series. David is the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Trust Edge and a noted trust expert who runs Trust Edge Leadership Institute.

On the show, David shares his Eight Pillars of Trust that have enabled his clients to triple sales, increase alignment, gain market share, overcome attrition, and get absolutely clear on executing their top priorities.

If you missed the live broadcast, be sure to watch the recorded version of the show. Your business’ future may depend on it.
