Happy Thanksgiving from Karr Associates, Inc.

Published on November 25, 2025

You know, every year around this time, we hear the same thing: it’s Thanksgiving, time to give thanks. And while that’s a beautiful tradition, I want to challenge that thinking a little. Giving thanks should never be limited to one day a year. If you’re living the Velocity Mindset, gratitude is not an event—it’s a discipline. It’s a force multiplier. It’s one of the pillars that keeps your velocity—your speed with direction—moving forward.

Let me explain why.

When we practice gratitude consistently, several things happen.

First, gratitude shifts our focus. Instead of getting stuck on what’s missing, we start seeing what’s possible.

Second, gratitude reduces resistance, because when you appreciate the people around you, you create buy-in. And when people feel valued, they show up differently. They give more. They support your mission. They move with you, not against you.

And third, gratitude expands opportunity. A grateful mind is a resourceful mind. It opens doors. It builds relationships. And as you’ve heard me say a thousand times, success in life is all about the relationships you build.

So yes, this is the week where gratitude gets the spotlight—but let’s not forget: the real power comes when we practice it every week, every day, every moment we can.

And since this week we’re all thinking about giving thanks, I want to pause and share something from my heart: thank you. To all of you—my supporters, my clients, my partners, and even my critics. Yes, the critics too, because thoughtful criticism forces me to grow, to refine, to elevate my message and my work. Your ideas, your encouragement, your engagement—you are the fuel behind the Velocity Mindset message. You help me get better. You help me stay focused. You help me stay in motion. And I’m grateful to each and every one of you.

As we head into the holiday season, here’s my challenge to you: don’t let Thanksgiving be the only day you give thanks. Instead, make gratitude a strategic habit. Every morning, before you open your laptop, ask yourself: Who can I appreciate today? Who helped me get where I am? What am I grateful for that I may be overlooking?

Because gratitude isn’t just a feeling. It’s a leadership tool. It’s a performance tool. It’s a mindset tool—and it drives velocity like almost nothing else.

So from my family to yours, I wish you a safe, joyful, and deeply meaningful holiday season. And as always, stay focused, stay intentional, and keep moving with velocity.

Happy Thanksgiving!
