Today is indeed a special day. Manhattan opens up for the firs time in 3 months of being on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Living in this area, I can tell you that six weeks ago many of us did not see this day coming.

 New York City suffered 24,000 unimaginable deaths. New Jersey suffered 12,000 unimaginable deaths. This is one third of all the deaths in the U.S. We indeed were the epicenter.

 But how did we get out of the abyss?
