Making Good on Your New Year’s Resolutions
Published on January 4, 2024
Now that we have started 2024, and we’re looking at our New Year’s resolutions, the question is, “How do we execute them?”
Here’s what I want you to think about: If you have more than one New Year’s resolution, and you’re trying to work on more than one at a time, that is a problem. This approach is going to interfere with your execution.
Focus is the key to following up on your New Year’s resolutions — and you can’t focus on more than one thing at once.
So if you have a list of New Year’s resolutions, the first step is to prioritize them. What should come first that’s going to have the biggest impact on your year? What comes second, what comes third, and so forth.
Focus on one item, master it, then move on to the next one, and you will probably be on your way to fulfilling your New Year’s resolutions.
Oh, and there’s one more thing: You also have to have passion for your New Year’s resolutions. If you’re missing passion, you probably have the wrong resolutions written down.
Wishing you and yours all the best for a delighted, healthy, and successful new year!
