Do you know your Points Of Power?

So, before you go asking for the deal, do you know your POPs? POPs stands for Points Of Power.

Yesterday, I was coaching a young lady who needed to ask for a significant deposit, and that was giving her a little bit of agita.

So, I asked her: “Is this a repeat client?”

She goes, “Yes.”

So, she worked for you before? “Yes.” That’s a Point of Power.

Did she like the job you did for her before? “Yes.” That’s a Point of Power.

She came back to you for another job, right? “Yes.” That’s a Point of Power.

She liked the design of the new job, right? “Yes.” That’s a Point of Power.

So, then I said, “With all those Points of Power, please answer this question: ‘Do you really think she’s going to run when you ask her for a deposit?’”

All of a sudden, a smile came across her face, and you could see that she gained the confidence to go have that conversation.

So, before you have to go ask for the deal or for money, ground yourself in your Points of Power.

Do it and you will be amazed at the results.
